I’ve been wanting to try this new-to-me developer, Diafine, for a while now. I’ll spare the technical jargon about why it’s different from other developers I’ve used in the past. Instead, just enjoy these photos I developed in it.

The setting was Cosmosphere, a space museum in Hutchinson, KS. It’s a true hidden gem here in the heartland. I took my girlfriend there over her birthday weekend. She’s a self-proffessed space nerd and loved it.

I shot Ilford HP5+ 400 (but rated it at 800 ASA) in my Yashica Electro 35.

Good results. I used Diafine often in the past and have some powder to mix. Been using Ilford DDX and also Rodinal.

Hi! I’m Ken.

Welcome to my site! This is a place for me to share my film photography, discuss my techniques and chop it up about the badass cameras of yesteryear that I use.
