The Zorki 4, revisited

A sunny Sunday and a community event was the perfect excuse for me to get out and take some photographs last weekend. For this outing, I chose to use my Zorki 4 rangefinder with the Jupiter 8 lens. I hadn’t used this camera for nearly four months. I previously posted some color photos I took with it back in January.

Picking up this camera again, I was struck by how beautiful it is. In the months it had been sitting on my shelf, I’d forgotten this.

I opted for Ilford HP5+, a reliable 400 speed film. I developed it with Diafine 4+4, always an easy and no-fuss-no-muss way to get decent negatives. I enjoyed shooting with this camera almost as much as the $1 tacos at the event.
