I recently attended a car show and, of course, took along a camera. I shot half a roll of Ilford HP5+ in my Canon P Rangefinder with a Jupiter 8 – 50mm / f2 lens. Later in the week, I shot the second half of the roll while out and about in Wichita. I’ll post photos from the second half of the roll in a separate post. The film was developed in Kodak D-76 1:1.

Car shows are notoriously bright, shiny and colorful. I could have (and some would argue…should have) shot with color film. But I really wanted to concentrate on shape and form without the “distratction” of robust hues.
