Notes & History
Historical Context
Produced from 1937 to 1948, the Kodak Jiffy Series II was the immediate successor to the original, highly stylized Art Deco Jiffy cameras of the early 1930s.
Kodak produced the Series II in two distinct sizes: the Jiffy Kodak Six-20 Series II and the larger Jiffy Kodak Six-16 Series II. While they lacked the striking, bare-metal geometric faceplates of their predecessors, they retained the same mechanical appeal that made the “Jiffy” line famous.
